Description

There are many job search questions that I’m asked throughout the year by NSENG members and my responses tend to only be heard by the individual who has raised the question. That’s why I’m holding this FREE event as a way for individuals to be heard and to hear my opinions on a what breadth of topics. If you have any burning issues that you’d like me to address, please feel free to email me at martygilbert1@gmail.com in advance of this event… I will prioritize those inquiries. But you can always bring your questions with you to this Zoom meeting and I’ll address as many as time permits. To get you thinking, here are a few topics that you may have some questions about:

  • Resumes and LinkedIn profiles
  • Networking strategies
  • Interviewing tactics
  • Elevator pitches
  • Personal branding and value propositions
  • Marketing and differentiating yourself
  • How to leverage your NSENG membership
  • Age discrimination
  • Negotiating a job offer
  • Cover letters

I will also share a few key observations that I’ve gathered over the past 12 months in an effort to help you better prepare for 2022. You need to register for this event at: https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZcvceitrzktE9Vd6hJ16TSUPczhaW7g4a-6  I hope you can join us.

I know that this has been a tough year for some of you but the fact that we’ve been averaging more than 10 NSENG members landing new jobs each week should be a sign of encouragement for all of you. Let’s use this time to end the year on a high note and walk away from this event with some new found information that you didn’t know before you enter the Zoom room. And remember,  you are never in this journey alone… the NSENG community and our 8,800 members are right there with you willing to help– you just need to ask for it.
