Description

The job search can be a very frustrating experience, especially when you think you’re making good progress with a great job opportunity and suddenly… things go silent. You were told that the company is interested in continuing more interviews with you but you haven’t heard back in a week or two or three. No phone call… no email. Nothing.

What should you do? Are you still in the running? Did you do something wrong? Have they lost interest in you?

Herein lies the challenge of being “ghosted” by a potential employer. And statistics show that 75% of job seekers believe they have been ghosted after having had what they believe was a good interview. It’s insensitive. It’s unprofessional. It’s disappointing. And it’s happening to a lot of job seekers… even those who thought they were well on their way to getting a potential job offer.

During this webinar, NSENG Founder/CEO Marty Gilbert, will be providing you with some insight to specific actions you can take with regard to ghosting. Here are a few of the topics that he’ll be covering:

  • Why ghosting happens
  • What some job seekers are saying about ghosting
  • What you can do to lessen your chances of being ghosted
  • Actions you can take once you believe you’ve been ghosted

This live presentation will be followed by a round of networking where you will have an opportunity to share your background with other attendees who may in in a position to make valuable introductions into companies that you are targeting. Please bring 12 copies of your handbill or resume with you for this portion of the meeting.
