Description

It’s a fact that on average 70% of all resumes that are submitted to a job online are incapable of being read by the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).  And, unfortunately, the job seeker is never notified of this and has no way of knowing that their resume simply didn’t comply with the rules established by the ATS software. I’ve had many people tell me that they’ve applied to 10 online jobs in 5 days and haven’t heard back from any of them. And the reason for the silence is often because THEY HAVEN’T FORMATTED THEIR RESUME SO THAT IT’S ATS-COMPLIANT AND CAN ACTUALY BE READ & REVIEWED.

We know that a lot of great candidates never get seen by a hiring company because the ATS couldn’t interpret their document OR the resume didn’t have enough of the right keywords to rank high enough for an interview. It’s all curable and during this webinar, Marty Gilbert (NSENG Founder/CEO & Job Search Coach) will walk through the building of an ATS resume and what you should and shouldn’t do when creating it. Here are a few of the topics that Marty will cover during his presentation:

  • Getting a standard resume baseline & why the ATS exists
  • The differences between a standard resume and an ATS version
  • How an ATS resume should be ordered
  • 20 specific guidelines you need to consider when building your ATS resume
  • The importance of keyword matching

In the last 30 minutes of this event, everyone will be broken up into virtual small groups where you’ll have an opportunity to share a bit about your background and companies that are of interest to you. Often times these networking sessions present opportunities for warm introductions into companies that you otherwise can’t reach on your own.
