Description

Job interviews can be very stressful, even for the most senior executives. And as a result, people often don’t come across as confident and capable as they would like during the interview process. Whether you’re being interviewed by an executive recruiter or the hiring manager, there are a few key principles to keep in mind. Interviewers are looking to see if you have the knowledge and skills to do the job, the leadership competencies needed and the cultural fit to be successful. But they are also trying to envision if you display the confidence and can handle the tough questions that are a key measure of your ability to perform under pressure. During this webinar, JUDY BRAUN, of Braun Leadership Consulting (www.braunleadership.com), will provide you with a hands-on presentation that will cover some valuable interviewing strategies that can make a difference in the way you come across. Some of her topics include:
  • Interview preparation strategies for phone screens and face-to-face encounters
  • Key physical appearance reminders
  • What interviewers are looking for
  • Common reasons why candidates don’t get the next interview
  • Handling the tough questions
  • Practical tips for having a great interview
  • Questions you should be asking
