Events

Catherine-JohnsOur meetings are held every other week at two different locations during the same week from 6:15-8:30pm at the Glenview Public Library (1930 Glenview Rd)and in Oak Brook at McDonald’s Hamburger University (2715 Jorie Blvd).  There are typically 60-120 attendees at each meeting. We start with 15 minutes of open networking. from 6:30-6:45 are meeting announcements followed by a one-hour guest speaker presentation. The last 45 minutes of the meeting are devoted to a round of small group networking where every members gets a chance to share their backgrounds, describe the kind of positions they’re looking for and circulate their list of target companies (these lists can often lead to warm introductions). Each meeting enables attendees to share job search ideas and obtain introductions to individuals currently working in companies they are targeting. Please bring 20 copies of your handbill or resume to these events. 

There are no upfront membership fees to join NSENG– just pay $20 at the door for each meeting that you attend.
